The NEBOSH International Diploma Unit DI3 study hours needs to be based around a minimum of 185 taught hours and approximately 144 hours of self-study for an overall total of 329 Hours

Course Structure:

  • NEBOSH International Diploma consists of three units: DI1, DI2, and DI3.
  • Each unit covers specific topics related to workplace health and safety principles, controlling health issues, and controlling safety issues.
  • Unit DI1 consists of 25 topics focused on workplace health and safety principles.

Assessment Methods:

  • Unit DI1 assessment consists of two papers:

Grading Criteria:

  • The pass mark for each paper is 50%.
  • To achieve the NEBOSH International Diploma, students must pass all three assessments.
  • The grading boundaries are as follows:
    • 0 – 149 marks: Refer
    • 150 – 195 marks: Pass
    • 196 – 225 marks: Credit
    • 226 marks and above: Distinction
